Located at 1/12 Colliery Avenue Enugu, Enugu State of Nigeria, the Centre is setup to explore, harness and develop the masquerade traditions, making it into a viable industry that can create economic potentials of the masquerade tradition as a job-creating avenue. Further, the centre focuses on scholastic enquiry into these traditions, associated festivals and social control mechanisms while serving as a tourist destination.
