durbar The National Research Centre On Durbar Traditions, Kaduna.
Situated at the Murtala Mohammed square, the Kaduna Research centres focuses on the art, the chivalry, history and associated traditions of Durbar in Nigeria. The centre is to attract scholars with emphasis on comparative analysis of Durbar traditions within and outside the African continent. It has been commissioned since 2004 and is open to the general public.
masquerade The National Research Centre on Masquerade Traditions, Enugu.
Located at 1/12 colliery Avenue, Enugu, the Research Centre focuses on masks and masking traditions in Nigeria with comparative outreach in studies of similar traditions within and outside Nigeria. Work on the research Centre has been completed and commissioned in 2007.  It has commenced some services to interested individuals and groups.

The National Research Centre on Boat Regatta Traditions, Uyo.
The research centre is located at Uyo, Akwa Ibom state. Office accommodation has been secured and furnished with relevant research and documentation materials.   The centre shall house among others physical and literary materials on Boat Regatta Traditions of the geo-political zone

The National Research Centre On Textiles  
Traditions, Oshogbo.

This is located at Oshogbo, Osun state. An Office space has been secured and furnished with staff on ground. The centre is yet to be equipped with relevant research and documentation materials.  It is envisaged to be a centre that will be hub for research into indigenous fabrics in Nigeria.

Crafts Development Projects
The Council has of now established two of its proposed four Crafts Development projects. The Crafts Development centres will provide opportunity for training of craftsmen and women, youth empowerment and serve as resources centres for the Poverty Alleviation programme of the Federal Government. For now the Craft Development Centers established by the Council are located at Lagos, Lagos State and Bauchi, Bauchi State.  While that of Borno State is nearly completed, that of Anambra State is yet to take off. That of Lagos was commissioned in 2006. Centres of Bauchi and Borno states will be commissioned in the 1st quarter of 2008.  Craftsmen are on site producing souvenirs and other memorabilia

Herbal Garden Projects
As part of its re-engineering effort, the Council successfully developed a Herbal Garden Project in Getso, Kano state as a pilot project for the garden to be sited at Abakaliki, Ebonyi State and Benin, Edo State respectively. The gardens are proposed as conservatories for endangered species of herbs, shrubs and trees of medical, economic and social values among the people of Nigeria. When operational, the gardens are expected to serve as resource centres for traditional medicine practitioners, botanists, pharmacologist and general researchers. For now two of the three Herbal Gardens are completed. The ones in Getso, Kano state and Abina, Ebonyi state have been commissioned and opened to the general public such as students, researchers, tourist and all stake holders.

Nigeria Cuisine Development Project

Work on the Nigeria Cuisine Development Project is in progress. Its major aims are to identify, document and update Nigeria cuisines with a view to popularize them for global acceptability.
