NCAC CONGRATULATES IKECHI UKO ON AFRICA TOURISM AWARD

Mr Ikechi Uko, a Veteran in the Nigerian tourism and hospitality industry has clinched the 2017 MICE East Africa’s Tourism and Hospitality Personality Award in the just concluded East Africa Forum and Expo in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Mr. Ikechi Uko is the organiser of the annual Akwaaba African Travel market exhibitions in Lagos Nigeria, the Bantaba in Abuja and Port Harcourt. He is also the publisher of Africa Travel Quarterly Magazine (ATQ).

Mr. Uko earned the recognistion as a result of his drive, commitment and passion for the growth and development of the hospitality sector both in Nigeria and Africa for so many decades.

To this end, the management and staff of the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC) under the dynamic  leadership of Otunba Olusegun Runsewe (OON) wish to join millions of Nigerians in congratulating Mr. Uko on this well deserved honour and to urge you to continue your good works throughout Africa especially in the tourism and hospitality industry.

This well deserved award was presented to Mr. Ikechi Uko by the Chief Executive Officer, Ethiopian Tourism Organisation, Yohannes Tilah.
