Crafts Development and Skills Acquisition Centres

These Centres serve as Indigenous skills acquisition and knowledge transfer centres as well as developing traditional design technology and standardization aimed at quality control with a view to enhancing the marketability of our crafts products. This in turn will facilitate job creation and economic empowerment of our teeming populace.
The Crafts Development Centres are all being housed in properties owned by the National Council for Arts and Council (NCAC). These Centres which are located in Bauchi, Lagos, Maiduguri, Ikare, Kano, Awka and Sokoto are in various stages of completion. All design structures are appropriately culture-compliant.
